Nantucket Concierge Medicine is led by Dr. Daniel J. Townsend in collaboration with a small group of experienced physicians who share longstanding connections to Nantucket.
Daniel J. Townsend, M.D.
Dr. Townsend has cared for patients on Nantucket for many years and has long recognized the need for a more responsive model of medical care during the island’s busiest seasons.
The vision for Nantucket Concierge Medicine grew out of conversations with patients, neighbors, and community members who shared the same concern: access to timely medical care on Nantucket can be difficult when demand increases.
Collaborating Physicians
Care is provided in collaboration with Dr. Abrar Qureshi and the primary care physicians of Dr. Tim Lepore’s Nantucket practice.
The practice also maintains relationships with approximately fifteen Massachusetts-licensed subspecialty physicians who have established ties to Nantucket and are available when specialized consultation is required.
